Remuneration

NHS Boards will pay the Non-Executive and Chair Members remuneration at the level applicable to the position of the member.

As Member you must be able to make a firm commitment to spend 52 days per year, or an average of eight hours per week on Board business.

Remuneration will be paid through payroll and is taxable.  PAYE deductions in respect of income tax and National Insurance will be made, but you are otherwise responsible for your tax liabilities.
